Remote anchorage techniques including pterygoid, zygomatic, and transnasal dental implants have afforded hope to the most atrophic maxillae. These implants, while highly technique sensitive, have extremely high survival rates when properly performed. In this hands-on workshop, Dr. Dan Holtzclaw will review indications and techniques for these remote anchorage implants in addition to providing live model demonstrations. Workshop participants will place zygomatic, pterygoid, and transnasal dental implants on models under the instruction of Dr. Holtzclaw.
